CAMP FOR ALL AGED PLAYERS!
JUNE 4TH - 8TH, SOCCER CAMP.
Summer soccer Camp will be held at Garrett Stadium. Go to the camp section. The RCSC is the first listed. Many Of the Coaching Bios are now listed. Please get your applications in to me. I am already getting them in and I want to make sure I have room for your child. I feel you will be more than impressed with the coaches we are lining up for your children. Our wish is this camp to be your fist option for your kids when planning your summer. By bringing the coaches to you, it will reduce cost but not the quality of the camp. Thanks to everyone for the hard work. I will be hosting the Camp as your DOC and will be doing training throughout the week. If you have any questions contact me!

Thanks for all the Hard work. the camp is filling fast we are now Full on keeper training with 16 keepers for the afternoon session. We have a few under 6 and Under 8 spots left. Please do not delay gettting your application in.

We will be holding a live registration Date for the RCSC summer camp this Tuesday May 20th from 6-8pm at Garrett Stadium. This soccer camp provides area youths with an excellent opportunity to train with regional men's and women's college and high school coaches. Players are divided in to age appropriate groups for training. This camp will truly have something for all age groups. Great fun and training is the theme. This is a must attend event for older players! Check out the tab on the Home page for camps, click RCSC and the application is in the middle of the page.

Camp Dates June 2-6 2008
The 2008 Camp registration is open for a few more campers for a limited number of spots. We are almost full. Call Mike Carmean at 706-575-2408 cell to get your child registered. We will order tee shirts later today. I have listed below an availability list.
4-6 years old 1-2 spots max
7 & 8 years old Full, call to see if we can add another
9& 10 year old girls 2-3 spots left
9&10 year old boys Full, call to see if we can make room
11-12 year old girls 2-3 spots open
11-12 year old boys full call to see if we can squeeze one more in
High school girls 13-17 2-3 spots left
High school boys 13-17 full call to see if we have room for 1 more

To all confirmed campers,
Welcome to the RCSC 2008 summer camp. I am thrilled to be your host. The Goal of the camp is to bring your child coaches and training here at a local level that you would have to pay 2-3 times to receive at their location, not counting food or gas. At Garrett Stadium we have covered areas for bad weather, Restrooms and a cool area in the shade if a player gets over heated. We will have Ice, water and ongoing supervision. With the back side of the field still open as the city completes the fencing, we will setting up on the visitors side of the field to control access. The front Gate on Sumerville Road will remain Locked for the event. Please Park in the back. Please bring your child in and be sure we have them. the 10 seconds of face time helps everyone on child identification. If you are not going to be picking up your child I need to be sure we know when you drop them off, with instructions of their pick up arrangements. This helps everyone. The kids are not allowed to hang out in the parking lot once we start each morning.
My purpose is to try to make this the best soccer experience you have this summer! To help me do this I ask you to please do the following.
Each player should have their own drinks with them. Bring enough for the entire day. Write their name with marker on them.
It is ok to pack a snack for any age group. Please have their name on it. keep it light and easy to eat. NO COKES!!!! No Fried Food!
The 4-6 year olds will have a snack break at 10:30 am each morning. Please send them something to nibble on.
Each player needs to bring a ball with thier name on it. Players U6 and U8 use a size 3, players U10 and U12 use a size 4 and all other use a size 5 ball. Please put your childs name in Big letters on the ball.
Each player must bring a smile each day with a willingness to learn.
Each child needs to have sunscreen, we will have some on site.
Each child need comfortable playing shoes and shin guards.
The All day campers will have a break from 12-1pm each day. You can check them out to feed them, or send a lunch. We will have staff watching them during lunch. I always change my shoes and put on fresh socks during the lunch break. Its an idea to save thier feet.
Drop off begins at 8:30 and the camp starts at 9am. Half day pick up is at 12pm, Full day pick up is at 4pm.
I or an adult member of the camp staff will be by the camp entrance on the visitor side of Garrett at all times. If you need something please ask.
I hope this gives you an idea of what is needed for camp. Thanks for allowing us to work with your child.
Special thanks to The Phenix City Board of Education, will be setting us up some tents on the visitor side of the field to help with shade.
Special thanks to the City's Parks and Recreational department for allowing the club access to the facilities.
